We are now currently starting week 14. The next few weeks will be posted as soon as we get back from our babymoon in Oregon.
Gina and I are pleased to announce that we will soon be adding an additon to our family. That’s right, we’re going to have a baby and more importantly, I’m going to be a father!!!
We think we’re around 6-7 weeks pregnant at this point. We’ll find out more during our first ultrasound on July 6th.
Below is a video of Gina’s mom when we told her that she was going to be a Grandma. The bag she’s opening contains a baby outfit with giraffes on it. We figured giving her something to open would be fun. She recently broke her leg so we disguised this as a get well gift. Enjoy.
We’ve been planning a trip to the zoo all week. I suppose planning is a loose term. Let’s say we had talked about going to the zoo once and what do you know, it happened. WE WENT TO THE ZOO. Yes, there was some enthusiasm there but I love the zoo, aquarium and pretty much anything that let’s me see aminals.
The weather wasn’t the greatest. It was in the mid 60′s, Overcast and humid. It’s not really worth mentioning the weather except most of the animals were doing absolutely nothing because of it. Below are some pics and videos of some animals that decided they wanted to cooperate and play nice with the public. You’ll have to forgive the image quality. We didn’t bring a good camera so I was forced to use my cell phone and digital zoom.
Here are some of the Orangutans at the zoo. They were the most active of all the primates there.

I can’t leave out this pic of a female gorilla making the silliest face I have ever seen a gorilla make.
They recently built a new penguin exhibit and I didn’t get to spend much time at it last time we went. Not only were the penguins swimming around but we also got a chance to watch them get feed. I just so happened to get it on video. Enjoy.
It was a great trip and I enjoyed spending the day with Gina.
