We have lift off

It’s amazing how fast the last few months have gone by. When William turned 7 months old he started crawling. 8 days later he was crawling up the stair from the living room to the hallway. Here we are, 8 months and 3 days in to his life and he started standing. Seeing him do this blew my mind. It’s truly incredible watching him learn and grow. Tonight I was a proud papa watching my son stand on his own for the first time. Ok, first time seeing it. It was actually his third time (today/ever) standing on his own and I have it for your viewing pleasure.

Up coming Holidays…Thanksgiving!

Hi,

I will be posting the menu in the next few weeks for Thanksgiving!!! Yay! So far, I have a few appetizers in mind. I plan to have vegetarian friendly items as well as the classic turkey. I am thinking of brining the bird myself…never tried this, but I’ve seen it done a lot on the cooking channels I am now addicted to lol. Anyways, I have a bit of sampling and tweaking to do, but the final menu will be ready by the end of the month if not sooner.

It’s been awhile…

Sorry to all, our life was super crazy for a bit. We are missing a few weeks of belly pics. But to get you up to speed here are some of the ones we did get in between holidays and moving and new house projects! We did the baby classes. William and I learned a lot, it really helped me feel better about labor /delivery. The nursery is almost done! It seems like our to do list is still a mile long though.

Week 24 belly picture

Week 24. Over halfway there! Its strange to think there’s not that much time left. And I’m sure it will fly by with the holidays coming up. Went to visit the new doctor yesterday. All is well, and it will be nice to be so close to home! Have to sign up for baby classes asap! Gotta teach the man how to change the baby lol!

Week 21-23 Belly Pictures

Here I am. Getting quite large. No stretch marks yet! I now have to knock on wood. lol! The baby is now big enough for William to feel its kicks and wiggles. Looking forward to the baby shower next week. My 1st doc appt. at Valley is next week as well. Hope it all goes well in meeting the new doc. It will be nice to be so close to the hospital.

21 Week Ultrasound

As promised, here are some pics from Baby T’s 21 week ultrasound. These are technically the first pics knowing that he’s a boy. So, they’re technically his first baby pics.

You can see the back of the head, an arm and his spine in this pic.

Below is one of them new fangled 3D sonograms. It was neat being able to see his face. I have to admit that it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This is going to be our son soonish. *Insert Joy here*

He’s practically sucking his thumb. How stinking cute!

We’re gonna have a what?

We finally have an answer to what gender out baby is going to be. It’s been a long few weeks of waiting up to this point but we’re happy to finally know. In Fact, we were so excited after finding out that we started adding gender specific items to our baby registry at Babies R Us.

We are going to have a BOY!!!

The poll from yesterday said many of you thought that we were going to have a girl. I’ll admit that both Gina and I thought it was going to be a girl as well. It appears that was not meant to be. We were destined to have a William IV. Not a bad name if I say so myself.
